        Hi all,

I was brushing Tiny yesterday and noticed she has what appears to be a scab or cut on her back, right above her shoulder blades. I did some research and found the Neosporin is safe for bunnies, so I went ahead and applied some yesterday. I’m really not sure how she could’ve gotten it. She did have an (oops) litter some time ago, but her baby was just weened from her last week (@ 7 weeks); could he have possibly bitten/scratched her? Or maybe she could’ve scratched herself? Or does it look like some sort of parasite?

Should I take her to the vet to get looked at? Or should I just see if the neosporin does the trick? She is acting perfectly at the moment.

        Thanks, everyone!

That is definitely a bite. Its time to separate all babies from one another, and from her since theyre already weaned. It looks like its healing well so I wouldnt worry about a vet, yet.
