I have that calendar on my desk at school. I have used a couple of the pictures as writing prompts with my 1st graders. They really liked that page and the one with the cat holding the Wii controller.

Actually, although bunnies do feature prominently in this calendar, they are not on each day. I should’ve been more specific.
Yes, the cat with the Wii is cute…reminds me of the one at cheezburger.com that says, “Forgets Wii…Plays wif Mii!”, and the other that reads, “It not been ALL day!”

It’s called Page-A-Day, Cute Overload calendar, 365 Day of Impossibly Cute Photos and it’s made by Workman Publishing, New York. And there’s a bunch of cute dogs, cats, hamsters, prairie dogs, etc. Plus the following terms are defined at the beginning:

Anerable: Adorable” minus the hard consonants
Barfing Rainbows: The only way to appropriately react to some photos in the calendar
Baroo?: Dogspeak for “Whut the…?” Frequently accompanied by a head tilt.
B.E.F.: Beady Eye Factor
Ehn!: The sound every living creature makes when it can’t…quite…REACH…
Floof: ex-TREEEEEME fluffiness. You know what I’m talking about.
Honk-Shu: Snoring (my personal favorite after Baroo?)
Muzzlepowche: Floofy jowls
Nosicle: Moist, like a hedgehog nose!
Nyehrhe!: The auditory component of an Almighty Squirm (Okay, maybe that’s my favorite…lol)
Prosh: Short for “Precious”
Soft Kronsche: The act of gumming (not biting!!!) the soft ear of an animal
Snorgle: Snort+Snuggle
Tie-Tie: So…sleeeeeepies…
‘Tocks: Short for BUTtocks
Widdle: (Widdew, Wuddow, etc.) (censored) version of “Little.” Totally outlawed, a ridiculous thing to say. Far too cutesy. Just stop it.

OMG Wowza! I just got that calendar and was wondering if I should share the picture! Did you see the praire dog one where the big fat one’s paw is cradling the smaller one’s cheek and the caption says: “My darling… be safe out there.”

A friend in Germany has sent me a small bunny calendar these past two years – there is a picture at the top of each month that can become a postcard when you’re done.
