Hi! I’m new to this site, so bare with me. I’ll introduce you real quick to my bun. Her name is Thumper and she is the sweetest ever! This July will mark 3 years since I got her. She is super laid back and she is such a lover. She roams the house whenever I am home, which is most of the time. Okay, so, last night, I was trimming her nails. Last time I did this, about a week or so ago, I accidentally cut her quick, so I was extra careful this time. Everything went fine until I noticed later on that she was hopping around a little different. Her back leg, which may be the one I accidentally cut the quick on before, she was using differently. She is using her leg still and is still putting pressure on it, but you can tell she is being extra careful on it. She is still eating, drinking, and acting the same as she normally does. If I didn’t notice her hopping a little different I wouldn’t have even known anything was wrong. She is still using it to move around and standing on it when she’s begging for treats. Any ideas what could be wrong? I am going to watch her today and see how she is acting before deciding if we need to make a trip to the vet. I have been worried sick ever since I noticed it. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you so much!

Taking a wild guess, but could it be you cut a bit too close and she’s feeling discomfort?
