Coyote bush safe to chew?

Does anyone know if coyote bush (Baccharis pilularis) is safe for buns to chew on? Wikipedia says it’s in the daisy family. 

It grows wild in my area, and I am curious because lots of wild rabbits live in thickets of it. I have also noticed that in areas with lots of bunnies, the bushes don’t have many twigs low on the plant…. about at bunny height. But, that could just be because the bushes are older. 

Haven’t seen any info online, and every search I’ve done comes up with something like “how to get rabbits off your property by removing coyote bush”

I’m sorry nobody has answered, I think it’s because nobody knows. I too looked the plant up (it doesn’t exist in my part of the world), and from what I can find, it’s used on the skin of humans as a natural remedy against poison oak and poison ivy rashes. I found sth about how deer won’t eat it because of the taste. In one of the articles it said rabbits like it, but it didn’t specify why, so it might have been as protection from predators or something.

Thanks Bam, I thought that might be the case, but figured it was worth asking. For now I’ll just have to keep wondering!
