let the the vet do it because of the hind foot that hello any squirms a lot the

and I don’t want to hurt his toe.

I may let them do it every 2 months.

I prefer doing it myself though. Anyway

Also i have bought bedding for his house.

He is as of yesterday using it as a litterbox.

I have regular litter for his box. Been cleaning the

        Soiled bedding

Funny thing he just started doing this. Been using

The bedding for about 2 months now

I will stop using it for a while i want him tol becomfortable

but on the other hand I don’t want don’t want him to

        Lose his litterbox habits

That’s unusual for Cotton. Do you think he’s messing up his habits because of his toe wound and treatment?
I do think that many forms of bedding just doesn’t work since they view it as a new form of litter. Maybe a soft fleece or simple cotton flannel cloth swatch would be a nice form of bedding that he doesn’t mistake for new litter.

the bedding is aspen pine I think.   It can be used for litter. I think thats why he is using it.

I have a fleece thing I can put in there.  I just want him to be comfy.

his toe.   I can’t tell by lookin at him I have to be trimming his nails to notice it.  He has ran like crazy around the house and is jumping so I think he is ok and it is healed but healed funny.

I was cleaning his litterboxes this morning.  He needed to use it and it wasn’t ready.  I saw him sitting in the corner where it stays and he used the floor there.   He really is good with his litter box habits. I know he really needed to go if he did that.

I use the feline pine which doesn’t smell like pine.  It absorbs odors good too. Unlike aspen pine.  It doesn’t smell like pine either or I wouldn’t use it.

Aspen is the best, I think. (It’s actually just aspen – shouldn’t be mixed with pine.) Sammy loves it, but definitely likes it as a litter.
If he went in the corner while you were cleaning the pan then he definitely had to go right then. I’ve had that happen a few times. Now I try to watch for her to go first, then clean the litter pan after I know she’s just gone. (This morning I took a chance and cleaned around mealtime, but I was nervous!)

              He sounds fully recovered.
