So last nite Cotton was on top the couch head rest getting his head rubs.  Dozing off.  Some rumbles of thunder in the back ground.   Then

a huge BOOOOOOM    up jumped Cotton off the couch he flew into the middle of the living room perched on his rug at total attention not moving.    Being on the phone with my Mom I got up slowly and told her what happened.  We hung up so I could go soooth Boo.

I talked softly.  He ran under the table on top his litter container.  I went over slow talking soft.  He accepted my offer of pets in a so so manner. After a bit he calmed down and was back to his normal Kingly self.

I put him to bed it was 10:30 about time and would help keep him calm in the safety of his cage all covered up. I leave space with the towel so he can get air in there. So he won’t get too hot.

He seems content this way.  And it allows me to be able to hold Ruby without him seeing us in the living room.  Else he would get extremely  upset with the evil eye glaring and mark the next day.

=) That’s exactly what I do for my dog… I make her a fort out of chairs and a blanket to hide in. Otherwise she hides in the bathtub, in my mom’s closet, or in the corner of my old room on a pile of stuffed animals. Lately she’s been really sweet though and has run over to me whenever she gets scared of the thunder… maybe bunny will start doing that. It’s so cute!

He wasn’t! He was just sitting in his litterbox chomping on some hay!
