FIRST of all, before any body goes calling me irresposible, my male bunny is not two years old, the person i got him from lied to me. He is believed to be 7 or 8. He cannot mate anymore, and anybody who knows anything about rabbits would know that they CAN infact, become to old to mate.

secondly, my female bunny is indeed a girl. however my vet said it is perfectly fine to leave them together, especially since my male bunny has been so much happier and energetic since they met.

I’ve been around bunnies my whole life, and I am not naive. I’m very disgusted by how i’ve been spoken to on this website, and I probably won’t be using it very much anymore.
thank you to those of you who did answer my questions, you helped loads.

I’m glad you found some info on this site helpful to you. On a forum, we can only go by what we are told. You said the rabbit was 2 years old. That is the info we were going by. Unless your vet did a sperm virility test (which I’m not sure even exists for rabbits) there is no guarantee that he is sterile. We prefer erring on the side of caution.

Although this site seems to not be the place for you, I do wish you luck with your rabbits.
