  Lola has some flaky skin right at the base of her ears (behind them not on the inside part). Since both her legs are splayed, it is hard for her to scratch it, so I imagine it is itchy. I use organic coconut oil on my dry skin sometimes and I was wondering if it is safe to use on rabbits.
  
  Has anyone used coconut oil on their rabbits? Is there any reason why it wouldn’t be safe?

  I think it’s safe. I’ve used a beeswax cream on my buns, I make it myself and sometimes I have coconut oil in it together with canola or olive oil.
  If there are a lot of flakes and they don’t go away with a protective/softening ointment, it could be fur mites. It’s very common in buns. So keep an eye, esp if she starts losing hair on/around the flaky spots.
