Do you guys clicker train your bunnies?

And if you do – in what situations?

I’m thinking that maybe it would be fun and bring me and Karl closer, but then again I am thinking “What on earth should I train him to??”

At the moment I’m working on training Otto without a clicker for now, but I would like to get a clicker some time soon. I think even if you don’t train him to do anything specific, it should help bring him out of his shell a bit if the literature on it is correct. Otto can be pretty independent and aloof, so I’m hoping it will help him with that exact thing.

            Interesting!

So what kind of training do you do now?

For a while I tried to teach Karl to come when I called his name. And it did work for a while, but only if he was hungry (calling his names = treats), so eventually I gave up. I have seen a lot of people who have trained their bunnies to jump into their laps just by clicking with their tongues and bending slightly in their knees. Don’t think Karl and I will ever get to that point.
