I hang 8 stockings every year. 2 human sized ones. 3 cat sized ones (Walmart) and 3 mini bunny-sized ones (Walmart). I bought some glitter gel and wrote everyone’s names on their stockings. I think it’s cute to have stockings the right size for the bunnies. Although, they always get way more stuff than I could fit in those tiny stockings! I tried to find a pic of them but I couldn’t.
The buns have a mini Christmas tree with tiny decorations in the rabbit room. I also hang a stocking on my horse’s stall. Christmas is for pets too!

Yep, I’ve been well aware of those for a couple of months. Hodari is getting a bunch of stuff from there (and from here); maybe not the stocking because I’m not sure she’d be thrilled with all the toys that come with it, but I’m getting her some of the gift bags and baskets, and definitely one of the little Christmas trees! I’m so excited!
My parents always bought for their pets, but DH and I never have because our cats strongly prefer homemade toys like paper wads and milk rings, and our dog only appreciates having a bone to chew on. Hodari is much more fun. bunnyfriend, that’s cute that you got presents “from your pets.”
My parents never thought of that. We used to help our dog unwrap hers from us, though; and usually she loved the paper more than the gift.

That is such a cute idea LPT! I’m definitely going to go out looking for some small trees later!
When I was younger we had a small ‘cat’ tree, with nothing but cat stuff ornaments that sat on our front porch. I had totally forgotten about that until now! Christmas is definitely for pets, my parents used to wrap up presents for the pets and then give my sister and I presents “from each pet”.
My parents used to do this too! I also used to get a present from the neighbors dog every year too. I’m not sure who really thought of it first, my parents or the neighbor lol

The stocking idea is a good one though. Maybe we should do a “custom stocking” thing in our store — or add a stocking for a cheap price when their order reaches a certain amount.I would definitely buy

Also, you can buy those stockings without all the stuff inside for a cheaper price, it’s just it gives you a pretty good discount if you buy them ‘pre-stuffed’.

Mine don’t have stockings (yet) but they do have baskets. They started as Easter baskets, but I think I’ll use them for Christmas too until I make some stockings. Also, I have trouble with stockings when I don’t have a fireplace, they just seem sort of sad hanging in random places on my wall.

So after listening to peoples comments, we think we came up with a good compromise. We first thought of stockings, but all of the stockings I could get at a reasonable wholesale price were just too cheap in quality. They were mostly thin felt, and I’d have to find a bunny theme to add to it. Plus, like LittlePuffyTail and Kate Monster mentioned, not everyone would be able to have a place to hang a stocking. But we wanted to offer some sort of Holiday Package that gives everything at a discounted price so after some brainstorming, we just now added to the store this Holiday Binky Package (two different packaging designs to choose from, but the goodies inside are the same. (packed full of fun favorites)
