So chito’s appetite had been a little strange lately..

        – he loved mint and lettuce before, but he treats them as his least favourite salad bit now
        – he drank a lot before, now drinks half the amount
        – he’s not too interested in pellets anymore–I know right. He still jumps at the sight of the container being opened, but takes some munches, then leaves. He used to wolf them down on the spot.

Changes we’ve introduced lately (one/two months back) are:

        – changing his oxbow adult pellets to the new packaging. I’ve heard friends saying it’s formulated differently? Is this why he hadn’t been vacuuming them?
        – changing his hay to alfalfa King, Timothy second cut, which is more widely available in Indonesia (oxbow pulled back, I think). He looooves this hay.

He’s still active, pooping great, and grazes on his hay all day every day when he’s not busy exploring his kingdom. He pees less, though, and I’m a little worried on that side. He doesn’t take too much calcium though, and his pee is clear, not cloudy.

Should I be worried? Or is he just bored?

          How old is he?
As long as he’s eating lots of hay, this doesn’t sound too alarming.

Thats comforting to hear, Bam, thank you! He’s turning three at the end of this month.

How can I be sure that he’s getting all the nutrients he needs? I’m thinking of trying different kinds of veggies..
