        Hi all,

You may remember from the health forum that my bunny Ralph had GI Statis? He’s all better now, pooing and eating like normal which is great. The not so great thing is that he seems to have had a personality transplant .

He used to lie on me on the sofa and give me kisses and jump around really happy. Let me pick him up and hold him lots and was generally lovely.

Ever since I tried to syringe feed him medicine (which he was having none of, even the vets struggled) he’s gone off me. I know they have good memories and hold grudges, but how can I make him love me again ?

I just tried to give him some kale and he pounced on my arm. Every time I stroke him he snorts at me to go away and hides in his tunnel. It’s upset me so much because he used to be so affectionate!

Me and my little Jack had an incident this week that I’ve been posting about, and I’ve been told about “bunny butt.” Basically they give you attitude for a while to punish you for your horrible treatment (taking good care of your bun). I give him treats sometimes and leave him generally alone. He gave me a kiss last night so that’s progress.

He’s a skittish bun though, not aggressive. I’m not sure how to stop your bunny from pouncing. Maybe just leave it in his cage rather than give him the kale directly. My guess is that he’ll come around. I’m trusting that my boy will eventually too. Good luck!
