The carrier that we had broke somehow (it’s probably a good thing since it was kinda on the small side) so I’m looking for one that can hold both Blossom and Thumper if we need to take them both to the vet at the same time but yet small enough so they don’t get jostled around during the car ride and hopefully not too expensive (as in nothing above $40). I was looking at some hard case pet carriers but I was also looking at soft sided carriers but they make me more nervous but anyway what is your recommendations?

I’d go for a hard case over a soft-sided carrier. Soft sided ones can have escape routes chewed in them

I have one that’s cat/small dog sized, it has a front and top door. The bunnies are quite snug inside together but it works. Here’s a pic, in the pic there’s also a frozen water bottle rolled up in the tea towel, which is why it’s extra squishy. I think the limited room is good though, they still manage to turn around but they can’t move too much in the carrier if we have to stop suddenly etc.

Another pic to show the whole carrier better

I have a top opening, hard carrier. I have a soft one too but one bun chewed an escape route as Azerane said, so I had to mend it. It worked for my non-chewing rabbit though. Top opening is very practical for vet visits.

I have a top opening hard plastic carrier too. It’s chew-proof, easy to wash/clean and solid.
