When I got my maze haven I thought it would be fun to have a big one and when the bunnies weren’t using it I could slide it under my bed, But sadly it was about 2 centimeters to tall to fit under it. So now it has to be in my room on the floor or in the living room for so the cats can go in it. It it starting to get more unstable from me shoving it in my closet or on my bed. I was wondering if I could change it and make it into two small ones or a double one? i don’t want to ruin it.

You can take it apart and make different configurations. I made the two story one and the dingbats never jumped up there, so I took it off and am saving those pieces for when Lolli destroys her “bottom” piece.

On a side note, I came home tonite and went in to see Lolligirl. Her haven was cockeyed and the blanket was almost completely off. LOL

OK. Thanks! I am sure they will love a change too!

It’s kind of a pain to get the flaps undone though. But it’s doable. I have the other pieces in a garbage bag in her room to save for later.

or you can order risers for the feet of your bed to give it a few more inches of clearance.

I don’t have money and my beds homemade so those wouldn’t work. I think it will be fun for me to redo it! I love building stuff.

Do your bunnies actually play with it?

Eddie and Lolli never used it for anything other than a box with “skylights” to lay under. lol I was so disappointed but maybe I didn’t configure it right or something. I put in the dividers and everything. But then ended up taking those out cause they’d just try to smoosh into one square. Silly bunnies. Best thing I ever did with it was put a blanket over it for Lolli. She only came out to eat, drink, and poop for like 2 days. Rest of the time she was in her “hole”. LOL

Yep, you can definitely take it apart and change it around!

I love that feature, because my two always lay on the middle floor, and then destroy it until they can’t fit on it anymore. At that point, I take the roof (or a new floor, if the roof is chewed through too) and switch it around so they can get on the middle level again. They never seem to realize that destroying it just means they’ll have nowhere to sit.

                        LOL.

My buns LOVE their maze haven! They sleep in it and have started recently destroying the sides. I went to “Bunny Day” put on by the WHRS and they had a cottontail cottage for $20 and I had to buy it! It is now mocha’s favorite place to sleep! He loves the middle level but they haven’t figured out the top level yet :p

One time we put together a whole new maze haven (the old one was just a mess) and tried stacking the two together before throwing the old one away. It was so funny to see them figure out how to climb up! Hannah kept forgetting how to get down though and hanging out of an upper window like she was going to jump – I had to show her how to get back down safely. I definitely wouldn’t leave it that way, but it was pretty funny to watch them do it for a half hour. Otto even made it all the way up to the top! I was so proud of him.

Lol. Sounds like fun! I just redid the maze have as a condo… I saw mocha figure out how to get up, but haven’t seen lulu do it yet. She probably did it while I was sleeping :p
