Is she in pain? I don’t know if it’s possible but I think if it were she would be in alot of pain. I have a lop but she can stand one of her ears up sometimes, could it be that you pushed Zelda’s ear down when you took the collar off and she hasn’t bothered to bring it back up?

An E collar is an elizabethean collar, and some vets give them to you to keep them from getting at their stitches.

              What is ND?

knowls: an e collar is one of those cone collars they put on animals after srygery to prevent them from chewing at the stitches. they are usually not used for bunnies, but her vet wanted her bunny to have one.

i have no clue about the ear thing. i’ve bent Mead’s ears every which way while petting and she was never bothered by it.

hmm…I noticed when Kahlua was drugged up after her spay (and when she’s mad) her ears were funny, one up one down-not characteristic for her…

Did you hear a noise? I’m sure it’s possible to break the cartilidge but not without noticing…Can you feel a ‘break’ in the ear where it’s fallen?

I’m sure it’s possible to break a bunny’s ear, but surely not by taking off an e collar!  I read on Language of Lagomorphs that one ear down can mean “I love you, but I don’t have to like you right now so I’m not going to” type of attitude.  Maybe she’s annoyed/stressed.
