Whenever I give Waffles his greens for the day he always eats them by the mouth full and with his pellets too, so I’ve spread the pellets on the ground. I’m worried that he’ll choke on them, so I’ve been trying to feed him by hand and sometimes I don’t have time to do that. I also cut them up really small. So can rabbits choke on small wet leafy greens?

I haven’t really heard of a bun choking on greens. If you’re worried I think you shouldn’t cut them up in very small pieces. Buns can choke on pellets because pellets are so small that a bun can inhale them without bothering to chew. As opposed to cats and dogs, rabbits tend to chew bigger pieces of food (and non-food) meticulously. They can’t swallow big chunks because of the passage between the esophagus and the stomach is very narrow in rabbits.

I cut up celery sticks into half-inch long pieces, but other vegs I don’t really cut up.

I agree with bam. Rabbits are able to navigate through big chunks of vegetables quite well. It’s a different thing for pellets though.
