I just know a bunny and the owner show a photo of feeding almond as a treats. I thought almond is high fat even human should not eat too much. She said she gives about 1-2 per day but not everyday

It’s not considered good for rabbits. Almonds, nuts and seeds are too rich in protein and fat.

There can be exceptions though. We had a rabbit here that was born with a hereditary disease called megacolon. That rabbit’s vet told the owner she could feed the rabbit almonds, pumpkin seeds and rolled oats, because the rabbit wasn’t growing as much as a young rabbit should. That helped the rabbit so it could grow.

2 almonds per day is too much for most rabbits.

Is that mean some rabbit could get it. If yes, so How many they could get?
