I ordered some hay online and it should be arriving tomorrow by 8 but my girls pee’d and poop in they last bit of hay(Over the past two weeks they have expanded their litter to include their hay bucket). I want to clean(throw out) all the dirty hay but don’t want them to starve in the mean time. I gave them 3 large bowls of pellets to keep this digestive system moving but don’t know if I need to go buy some bag hay in the mean time. They hate the stuff and normally refuse to eat it(spoiled) but I don’t want them to go without. Will they be ok with just pellets until tomorrow?

Technically yes – But I would throw is some Leafy Green lettuce of something to help break that up. It’s not ideal, obviously, but if they wont eat the store bought stuff anyway.
My girl bunny Penny was just spayed on Wednesday and was uncomfortable and not wanting to eat at ALL after… It wasn’t until the 2nd day that she started to nibble on anything (had to force feed her before that) so I have her ANYTHING she wanted to eat to keep her insides moving and it wasn’t until the 3rd day that she finally started nibbling at Hay again.
Why the long story? LOL – because while it wasn’t ideal for her to not eat hay for almost 3 days – she is still alive and eating it now

Thanks for replying, I going to make sure I give them a salad tonight and see how much of their pellets they eat before tomorrow. By then the amazon tracking should have and updated delivery time. As long as they wont die they can deal for a few hours. I also ended up scraping all the hay around the floor they kicked about and it ended to be a nice amount. If they eat they ill know they depsertly want some hay and prolly end up getting them it.

Hello, the absolute necessity for a rabbit is to keep eating little and often all through the day to keep the digestive system moving at all times.
Eating pellets for a day or two will not kill them because they digestive system will be moving.
They must not stop or slow down eating.
It’s kind of a simple as that.
