can my bunny live alone?

My mini lop Allison (ally) is almost 4 months old. We live in an apartment with myself my fiance and our tabby cat. Ally is let out in the morning to run around, chase my cat, poop everywhere and do the usual bunny things. I’m a uni student so my weeks are unpredictable. Sometimes 2 out of 7 days of the week im at uni all day and ally only gets out of her room maybe 5-6 hours. But then most days she spends from 8am to 9pm at night roaming the apartment. When we put her back in her room (she has a whole bedroom to roam with cage open to her to come and go as she pleases) she also has litter, toys, boxes, towels to lay on etc everything I could think of she has
However I feel bad locking her in the room overnight while we sleep. The doors shut and she’s in the all alone. We can let her roam the apartment at night because she urinates on the lounge if not supervised. We really aren’t in the position to get another bunny (apartment too small and doesn’t allow pets as is). Do you think I’m doing enough to keep her happy?

I think your bunny has it very good and is probably very happy. While most bunnies enjoy having a friend, if you’re giving your bun lots of attention she can be perfectly fine on her own.

Yes, it certainly sounds as if she’s not a lonely bunny. Sounds a lucky one! And even with the cat as an unwilling “companion”… even if being chased – she gets her cuddle quota from you….
With 3 other presences in your apt she’s got more than enough activity to keep her from being bored.
And you know, if she’s up and running around with you in the day hours, she is probably sleeping in her room when you are in yours. :o)
