Can I have a happy, single Pringle rabbit?

For those of you with single pringles, how many hours a day do you spend playing with them, so they don’t get lonely, and depressed? We just got a 7 month old bunny 3 weeks ago (I guess she’s about 8 months, at this point). We have been playing with her between 3, and 5 hours a day. She gets groomed for about an hour (unless she is too busy), and the rest of the time is playing toss with her willow ball, moving obstacles, being an obstacle (while she sees how fast she can take a turn ?), and giving her nosies whenever she hops by. Currently, she has a willow ball, wood carrots, a wood bed, a wood hidey house, and lots of boxes to climb on, and into. I am in the process of building her some cool stuff for an agility obstacle course. Is this enough, or do they really need another rabbit?

I would say it definitely depends on the rabbit and their situation! Most rabbits do better with a companion. That said, I have a single bun now and she seems quite happy imo, binkies, explores, flops, eats well. She was very aggressive towards other rabbits at the shelter so she was adopted out to us as an “unbondable” rabbit. Although I don’t really agree with the idea that any rabbit is unbondable, and may get her a friend in the future, she is single with us for now

Our general routine, Thor is free range: On weekdays, I would say that we spend about 2hrs in the morning and then 6 hrs in the evening home with Thor, and maybe out of that we spend 3-5 hours interacting with her directly. She gets lots of grooming time and likes to sit on the couch with us in the evenings to “watch” TV. We also spend some time playing with her/laying on the floor. I’d love to do an agility course as well, that sounds like fun! So in general I would say I spend about the same amount of time with her as you do, and she seems quite happy (we have had her for about 6 months).

Every rabbit is different, but I wouldn’t feel obligated to get her a friend as long as she seems happy and not bored.

We almost adopted a bonded pair…one of their names was Thor! Awesome bunny name! It’s good to hear that she seems happy! Laura seems pretty happy, too, but it’s only been 3 weeks. She seems super comfortable. She does tons of binkies, bunny 5ks, and flops when she’s just exhausted. I am pretty sure has also adopted a stuffed puppy as her warren leader-she grooms him a lot without expecting anything in return. ? She likes to chill with the kids while they watch their shows. It’s so funny how she can go from turbo to turtle with no warning! The unfortunate thing is: she is not free range, as nowhere in our house is completely funny proof for her to be out without supervision. She has a good-sized bunny condo, and a bedroom basically to herself. I guess that’s part of why I feel bad. I wonder if she gets lonely.
