Ok so normally first thing when I wake up is come open his cage so he can come out if he wants. All pellets are usually eaten.

This morning I didn’t bother even looking in the room- I just reached in and shut the door cause I wanted to go back to sleep and didn’t want him to get excited.

I walked past the living room and noticed droppings, then a minute later I realized that I thought he never even went into the living room yesterday, but ya know my brain was still half asleep so I didn’t think much of it. Then I heard a little “scurrying” and thought I’d better check it out.

Looked in the living room, bathroom, and spare bedroom. Didn’t see him. Check his room.  Still almost a full bowl of pellets! Yep-his cage was open! I was like OMG where is he at, and what has he done?!lol

I called for him and he didn’t come, so I grabbed a banana-he he came! He was under the bed in the spare bedroom.  He’s never allowed in there lol….I wonder what all adventures he had! Now since he’s ok, it’s time to check to see if anything’s destroyed or saturated with pee!haha

And I’m surprised because I’m a very light sleeper. He must have been really quiet!  I actually woke up a a few hours due to rain and couldn’t go back to sleep for about an hour.  Never heard one sound that could have been from him!

          ….that wasn’t rain. LOL

Turn on electrical things. If they don’t work, the wires were nibbled.

I once came home from work (9 hrs. gone, door to door) and was greeted by a bunny standing in the middle of the living room directly across from the front door. Looking very guilty. Never knew why….just knew he’d been out all day.

Haha! See, I’d consider leaving Zelda out all day if I was 100% happy that she wouldn’t chew wires and the like!

Actually, all of the things he does “bad” when I’m around, are untouched from him being out lastnight.  My school books and papers which he loves to destroy-and is right now as I type lol-were completely untouched.  He didn’t move the barriers to get behind the couch as he usually does every day…I guess he was being stealthy lol

maybe because it was completely dark and quite with no one around, he probably didn’t know what to do with himself. I think when I’m around him (usually all day everyday) he’s more energetic, like he likes me to watch him, and probably feels more safe??

Maybe! I think Zelda likes to be bold just to annoy me at times!

After a while, we actually stopped putting Tammo back in his cage for the night; we just packed up the cage altogether and he became a free-roaming bunny 24/7. He was a….very very lazy bunny though, and was never too destructive so we didn’t have to worry about that. It was the cutest thing – he would sleep all night on the bottom level of the shelf next to my parents’ bed and beg for treats in the morning from my mom or dad, whoever woke up first!

aaawww that would be great if Sunny could be good like that. I still haven’t found any evidence that he was bad yet, so I’m happy about that. I’m glad I didn’t find him stuck in the toilet or something weird like that!lol

My boys are out all day. The apartment is bunny proof save my bedroom and I use a baby gate to keep them out. They won’t jump it on the hardwood. Glad he didn’t get into any mischief!
