        Hi everyone!

Tomorrow is my bunny Kuro’s 5th birthday, and I wanna do something special for him.

I already plan to take him shopping for a bunch of his favorite chew toys, but I also wanted to make him a bunny safe cake!

I found this recipe from Chewy, and I’m just wondering if it’s safe for him to eat. Here are the ingredients:

        • ¼ cup rolled oats
        • 1 tbsp. parsley leaves
        • 1 Romaine lettuce leaf
        • 3 tbsp. shredded carrot + 1 tbsp. for top
        • 1/4 overripe banana

As far as I know, parsley is safe, but I could be wrong. The main thing I’m worried about is the oats. I’ve heard mixed opinions on it, some say it’s safe and others say it can cause issues.

I’m wondering what everyone’s opinion is on giving this small of an amount, just once. If this is a safe recipe, I’d only make it on special occasions like his birthday.

Thoughts on the oats? Also, any other ideas for what we should do for his birthday? Thank you so much in advance! <3

Is this for one bunny? That just seems like a lot for one sitting. As for oats in general, they won’t hurt anything. They are just “fattening”, so you don’t want to feed a lot of them.
