Bunny romance!

First off, sorry for the massive absence. My partner and I have only just been able to get internet in our new place – two months in! But I do have  some big exciting news!

I would like to introduce the lovely Luna, betrothed of Merlin. I had wanted to get my little man a companion for a long time, seeing as it was no longer just me and him in our own place he was probably feeling a little lonely. After his neutering, I had a look at my local adoption agency, and as usual, asked who had been there the longest.

The guy who worked there brought out this little madam, and I was immedietley infatuated with her big blue eyes and her grey markings that make her look like she’s wearing booty shorts!

Luna is a little odd looking, with a long snout, smallish head and bulgy eyes, and because of that, the worker said peopel thought she was ‘too ugly’ to adopt. Tuh!

I pl aced her in the xpen and let Merlin be free roam so they could meet. They rushed up to the bars as soon as the put eyes on each other, sniffing and wiffling and very interested. Merlin is  very much in love and sits outside her cage until bonding time, gazing in looking very lovelorn! He even brought her his favourite stick. If thats not love people, i dont know what is :p

Luna is a bit shy though and runs away from him a bit. I’ve been watching them chase for a while now, but theres no aggression or territory problems, so I think -crosses fingers- everything will be ok. 

I mostly just end up giggling at Merlin chasing her, imagining him going ‘Jazz! Do you like Jazz?? Or I know a great coffee place?!’

She is beautiful!!! And I love bunny romance, its so cute!! It was love at first sight! LOL

She is gorgeous! I know they are considered a bad thing by breeders, but I love Vienna marked rabbits, they are so unique.

Is she a young bunny? When we got Caesar, he was the dorkiest looking bun, gangly and awkward. He has grown into quite a handsome boy, even though he still acts a bit dorky. Luna is adorable just as she is. But even bunnies have awkward teenage bodies lol I love her markings. She’s got those “booty shorts” no wonder Merllin is chasing her lol

I think she’s only around one, as she’s smaller and more slender than Merlin even though hes a pretty chunky dwarf. She’s lovely and is beginning to show her personality – a bit of a mischevious minx! She loves climbing on things and running around, we already had the OHMYGOSH ITS DINNER celebrations this evening, Merlin usually just hops around his bowl happily but she did 500s all round the room! they like sleeping within about two feet of each other. As soon as i get pictures of the cute couple trust me I’ll be spamming them on here!

So cute he brought her a stick.  Now that is bunny love.  She sounds adorable.
