Bunny on the loose!

Basil has had a complete personality change thats for sure! now that he is fat and happy and his ears are compleatly healed he thinks he runs the house! lol I had him in my bathroom while I cleaned up his cage and got all the lil hay whisps swept up he was having a blast jumping in and out of the bath tub and zooming around and around in the tub! lol I decided to let him stay in there for a little while since he was having such a good time I was in the other room and could hear him bebop around a few minutes went by and I notices it was a lil quiet…… I peek around the corner and Basil is in the kitchen ears pricked and looking at me like “what? I dizint doo nuffin” I said hey! what are you doing out?! as soon as he heard me he came zooming over to me I pick him up give him a rasin that he was demanding for and lifted the baby gate higher and blocked the bottom off and let him play again a few miutes later all was quiet AGAIN  then I saw a grey and white blur and then WHAM!!! Basil is on my lap in the living room!!! grrr! oye! he has discoverd his jumping talent!

FUNNY! Oliver was afraid of heights when we first brought him home….anything over 4 inches that is. It’s fun when they realize what they can really do….fun for them at least

Yea, Opal is still terrified of heights. I’m trying to get her to hop up on to the futon while I’m sitting up there, but no luck yet. Unless I give her a box to step on haha.
Basil is so funny. (And absolutely adorable!)

As annoying it is when they discover their jumping, it’s also fun. Eddie was my jumper and he’d try to jump on everything. Lolli doesn’t like to be off the ground so she’s just now
starting to jump up on the couch occasionally if I have food she thinks she needs. lol

Hehehe I think its so cute that he is exploring now and being able to do what a spoiled house bunny was born to do! eat sleep lounge and play! lol and of course snuggle! Im so happy his ears are better for a while I thought he had ear canker (did I spell it right?) they were really crusty I have been putting vitamin E on my finger tips and massaging the inside of his ears gently 2 times a day and all that hard work has payed off! nice healthy pink ears! woohoo! lol NEVER again will he have super long toenails his poor ears took enough beating with that to last his whole life! he was jumping all over today I think he was practicing for another secape lol I can just hear his plan now “I iz off to takes on da world!! as long as I can see my mommy!” lol

Ah the joys of learning how to jump and how much FUN it is!

The other day I was talking to one of my girlfriends on the phone, and I was lying on my back on the couch. Momo zoomed up from the floor, took a flying leap, and LANDED ON MY FACE.

I made this garbled sound like “MMRMBAAUUUGH” and both my friend and my husband were like, “…y’all right there?”

Momo was pleased.
