She pees and poos everywhere else (especially in bedsheets and pillows) than her litterbox after being spayed (week earlier). It’s a terror and I cant take it anymore. She has to go in a cage for good (at least for a few weeks) Any tips?

Her hormones are in super overdrive right now. They will calm down, sometimes it takes closer to a month. If she was a good potty use before, she will probably go back to that eventually.

I just adopted a bunny who was neutered a week ago. He was totally litter trained in his foster home but was peeing and pooping all over the place at my house. I’m also hoping it’s hormones. I’ve been crating him and slowly letting him out for 5-15 minute intervals a few times a day in increasingly large spaces. He’s using his litter box perfectly in his crate and fingers crossed has done well with those intervals. Keep us posted.

Bed sheets and pillows are tricky. One of my bunnies just decided after being spayed, that soft things were meant to be peed on. I can’t change that habit. Many bunnies like to pee on soft things, they just don’t always discover it at a predictable point. I would keep restrict her access to said items – keep her in an area that is safe to pee on, preferably a small area, and give her a litter box at each corner. It could take a month or so for her hormones to calm down, and things should get back to normal. In the mean time – don’t give her access to things you wouldn’t want her to pee/poop on.
