Did you just get the rabbit? Is this a new behavior? Any other changes? Is your rabbit peeing and pooping and eating?

If your bun is behaving normally in other respects as Wick inquired, there might not necessarily be cause for alarm since you say she gets and eats greens every day. Rabbits get a lot of their water from leafy green vegetables, so if they eat the recommended amount (1 cup per 2 pounds weight), they won’t actually need to drink a lot of water to supplement it. It’s often recommended to serve your rabbit their greens thoroughly wetted down, which not only washes them up but adds extra water. In fact, while I was discussing the best way to prepare for taking Panda and Fernando with me on my next road trip (at Thanksgiving), the head lady at Friends of Rabbits advised me to feed them wetted greens before setting out since that’ll provide them with enough water to see them through a longish drive.
