› FORUM › THE LOUNGE › Bunny motif: what have you got?
OK, most everyone here has at least one live bunny. (Some have urns with ashes but let’s not go there.)
And most of us have friends and family who know we love them. Sooooo, what items in your home or office or car or yard or wherever else you can think of are a bunny motif?
They can be ones you bought (because none of us ever like to buy little bunny stuff for ourselves) or ones you were given.
Pix please!
My newest acquisition is a 6″ ruler from my friend which has 3 bunnies in a filed, but it’s holographic so two are washing their faces and one is sticking its tongue out. And I got several hand made bunny items from my friend in Central Mongolia. Also, I have a ballet bunny from Jacob’s Pillow Dance Center. I just packed 2 cereal bowls, one with a bunny attached like a handle.

I actually don’t have much bunny stuff! I used to collect stuff (horse stuff) when I was younger, but the older I get the more I see everything as “clutter” (oh goodness, that means I’m turning into my mom!)
Anyway, I do have this adorable candy bowl from Pottery Barn that I bought last year. I’m obsessed with Cadbury Mini Eggs so I fill it up with those when they’re “in season”. I tried to find it on their site, but they don’t seem to have it this year. These bunnies are the same style (probably same artist), but mine is on its back with a bowl where the belly would be:

My SIL also bought me a tea towel with bunnies on it that I’ve brought out from time to time.
I don’t have a lot of bunny stuff. Actually, none. Just the bunny and her stuff! But alas, I would love to have these. They are practical and cute!
They are little salt and pepper grinders. You grind by squeezing the ears! ![]()
ME WANT GRINDERS!
Oh gosh those are so cute….
I have a bunch of bunny stuffed animals that my daughter has been playing with. Two years in a row I got a Giant stuffed bunny from walmart, one pink one blue. They stopped making it but it kinda looks like this:
The first Easter my hubby and i were together he bought me a pink little bunny and anytime he sees a bunny he buys it…he’s such a softie. <3
I don’t have any bunny stuff, except the rabbits and their stuff. Actually, come to think of it, every room is decorated by their stuff …
LOL, Elrhowhen I am the same way – I’ve been working very hard these past 5 years decluttering and have been somewhat successful.
My husband did bring me a rabbit figurine from France the last time he went so I have kept that. And a few other things – I’ll have to take pictures. I do actually have a cute little stamp from Hong Kong that one of my rabbit friends brought me from there. And a few more things but I beg my family not to buy me anything and I mean anything. I hate dusting.
i’ve got white fur all over my clothes everywhere i go…
In the bunny room I have a cute squirrel and bunny figurine. I got them for my birthday, along with Panda, the best gift of all ![]()
The bunny looks like this!![]()

I only have this http://www.amazon.com/Rabbits-2012-Wall-Calendar-12/dp/B004X5NP5K/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1328914563&sr=8-8 that I got for Christmas.
I want a few more decorations but I’m with you on the De-cluttering thing. I want bunny things that don’t have to be dusted. Like jewelry! Or things with practical use like the grinders or the candy dish. I inherited my mom’s want to not have nick-knacks too. Except while I don’t- she does! Her mom (my awesome gma) is the queen of nick-knacks! (boarder-line hoarder lol)
The only thing I can think of off hand is this little wood carving I bought at the state fair last fall:

I also have a necklace with Hodari’s pic on it.
Here is the group of bunny stuff I have on the top shelf next to my art studio.
I have a jewelry holder and a wooden card thingy that my mom got me. I have some stuffed animal bunnies stored away from when I was a kid, including the velveteen rabbit (which would always make me cry).
Hahah I didn’t realize Totoro was in the background until after I took the photo.
I got a rabbit necklace today at Forever 21. It’s so cute! I have it in silver, though.
I also have this bunny pillow pet
I have WAY too much bunny stuff. I have an addiction; I find it almost impossible to resist buying anything bunny-themed. The hardest part of the year is coming up! Aghhh…Easter! Bunny stuff everywhere! I seriously need to de-clutter but I just can’t part with any of it.
The only pics I have right now is some of my Bearington Bunny Collection:

I have twice that many now.
I have an addiction to stuffed bunnies especially. My rabbit room is full of shelves filled with bunny stuffies. I actually have baskets of them in my closet because I have no place to put them anymore. I get a lot of them for gifts since my birthday is close to Easter.
My hall window ledge has a collection of ceramic bunnies. I have a gigantic poster of Stormy in my bedroom!
Most of my PJ’s are bunny themed. I’m a big Thumper fan. I just made myself a pair of embroidered bunny pillow cases for my bed. (Will post pics soon). 3 Bunny necklaces, an “I love my Bunny” tote bag, Bunny print hoodie. I could go on and on if I walked around the house.
Pam: I have a similar bookmark but the picture is different. It has a face-washing bun too.
And, same as Mike, I bring a little bit of my bunnies everywhere I go. Yesterday, I was in the car and a big, Bindi Loo fluff ball was floating in the air.
I want Bindi Loo fluff ball!
@longhairmike, you do have that rock wall with a bunny motif. That’s pretty unique!
My bunny things I’ve all been given.
To hang on door knobs etc
Changing colour bunny light
Beanie bear bunny. It has like a bunny ear hoodie.
Cast iron bunny. Useful door stop.
Funny looking floppy bunny.
Bunny quartz necklace.
I have 2 other bunny soft toys that Timbu and Jelly have in their pens. And a fund raising t-shirt on the way which has a bunny motif .
Oh shoot, still need to order one of those shirts myself, Jers.
I need to take pics of my bunny stuff… heh.
I love that necklace, Jersey.
Just got another plush bunny for Valentine’s Day. ![]()
OMG I want those shakers!!! LPT and Jersey-my – What a collection!!
I was like-oh I don’t have anything..well except
I have a couple mini dutch stuffed bunnies I was given as they reminded someone thoughtful of Kokanee. I also have a Kokanee ceramic figure I found on ebay. Hmmm and a few more stuffed bunnies at home. Also bunny magnets on the fridge. Erm and some bunny jewellery…And even a bunny sweater..Bunny garden gnomes….now that I think about I have quite a bit of bunny motif lol
But the strangest are my two stuffed bunnies I have at work. There is a lady in my office who collects stuffed animals and one day she gave me her two bunnies.
One is a golden dutch -just like Kokanee
One is a fuzzy gray rabbit-hmmm a bit of a resemblance to Kahlua
How strange things work out!
Oh Pam…did you REALLY want to open this particular can of worms? Lolz….
You’d have to say my bunny decor borders on a serious population explosion…typical of the species. There are plushies, figurines, teacups and teapots, jewelry, xmas ornaments that double as easter knick-knacks….you name it, I’ve got it. Drives the hubby insane. Probably going to have to part with quite a bit of it before long.
My smallest items are a silver angel bunny charm and an ivory rabbit figurine…my largest are two stuffed bunnies…one of which is a giant Crayola bunny plush that is almost as big as I am (I’m 5’4″).
Pix will have to come later as Snapbucket is messing with me. ![]()
Well, I guess I’m goin shopping after this thread… thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks.
We have a couple of stone bun lawn statues. One of them was in the car accident with me and lost part of an ear. He now props our closet door open, and reminds me of how ALIVE I am today! A family member was like … He’s broken? Why don’t you toss him? Never!
Also, my in-laws have started my bunny figurine collection, but these buns are expensive so I wait until they’re given to me instead of adding to the collection myself lol

I think the little one looks like Momo!
And then there are the bunny things that I create for people ![]()
_-_BB.jpg)

I love these, you guys!![]()
I am also reminded of some of the bunny things I failed to mention, such as a beooootiful ceramic bunny made in Alaska that got packed carefully 2 weeks ago. AND, like JerseyG. I have a bunny necklace, tiny ivory, along with a ceramic bunny pin.
I have a few Sock Bunnies from Anna the Widget bunny maker. I happen to know some people who have baskets full of those…..
And a dear friend from my old job (a volunteer in her 80s), Marion H., saw my sock bunny one day and went home and sewed 2 original ones herself as gifts to me. She liked them and thought she could do it, with one having teeny legs as a variation. I lost my lovely Marion to cancer that year and I am so grateful to have those handmade bunnies as a reminder of her.
Finally, when I was 6 years old, I made a clay bunny at school and painted it gold and gave it to my father. The ears broke on the bus on the way home. But he saved it and kept it for years and years while we moved a few times. Portend of the future…..(His mother, my Nana, called me “Rabbit” sometimes, too.)
I forgot to mention, when the snow clears and I start my yardwork and gardening, I bring all the bunny lawn statues out from the shed. I have 6 of them, I think. Every Spring I see a new one that I can’t resist. Last week I bought a cute rabbit stepping stone. I also have a beautiful angel statue about 3 feet tall who is hugging a bunny. I bought it for the yard but it’s so pretty that I decided to keep it in the living room. I would hate for someone to steal it. I’m a big angel nut too.
