I dunno if maybe all buns do this, or its just a random thing, or its a sign of something wrong. I know it’s cute as can be though

So when I pet Midnight in a certain way (will describe in a moment) she will act super lethargic, lower herself to the ground, lower her ears, eyes get all droopy, and just sprawl out. She’s done it since she was little. A lot more lately, though, she will completely flop over and just lay there until I stop petting her. Even then, she will be in a trance for a moment.

So how I’m petting her. I’ll pet between her front and back leg on her side. It’s not a super gentle pet but more of a soft scratch. Same scratch I do on the top of her head that she seems to love. Sometimes I will go back and forth side to side, which is when she seems go flop the most.

She doesn’t show any sign of pain so I don’t believe I’m hurting her (if I am, please tell me! Lol) but it is the cutest thing. Does anyone else know of their bun doing this? My male bun won’t sit still long enough for me to even attempt it with him

Yes boo flops all the time and more so now we have her on carpet rather than rugs on laminate flooring.
Also as she’s got older and feels more safe she is more relaxed and does it often.
Boo will stay there all day until I stop stroking her.
Boo closes her eyes too and puts her head flat on the floor and legs stretched.
Not sure about her ears they stay the same but she’s a lop.
