Not gonna but I want another bunny soooo bad! But not gonna…. yet…..
No matter where I go lately all I see are bunnies. I went out shopping and there is a little girl carrying a bunny
I wanted to steal it lol I of course stopped them and turns out the little girl will not go anywhere that her bunny isn’t allowed to go! So stealing that bunny was out of the question.
Then I go into a pet store BAD idea! There were like 8 baby bunnies crammed into an aquarium and one itty bitty one off to itself and when I stuck my hand in the tank to pet them he/she hopped into my hand and started grooming me! ![]()

that was my face but I was thinking like can’t…buy…must….resist…
So I go to the shelter I volunteer at there is usually only 2-5 rabbits there but someone dropped off 6! litters of lionhead, mini rex, holland lop, and Palomino (I have dreams of palominos!). That was the hardest! Cause they were all skittish and scared but still willing to let me pick them up and I felt so bad for them! It sucked!!!
I want another bunny but I have to resist lol Have to think logically
stupid logic get in my way of a house full of bunny binkies!
Welcome to the club, Sonn! ^_^
I saw a lone bunny at my local shelter the other night while perusing the website…it was a dutch/lionhead mix that looked just like Pip except for the sable saddle coloration. A 3 year old female. I was ready to grab the car keys and tell the hubby, “Just try and stop me!”
>.<
This is not a good time of year for people like us. We should both be going nowhere without blinders on! 0_o
volunteer at a local shelter and get your fix
my mom caught me on kijiji, i didnt say anything but she said, no! 2 is enough… ![]()
Well I surely can’t help you, I have your same problem lol. Hows your catfish doing? Mine has doubled in size!
I am NOT looking at the adorable lionhead at the oregon humane society, I am NOT! Really. Honest.
I am also NOT looking at the little loppy there too…. really.
I am NOT posting links either… *cough*

I think I ask hubby for another bunny at least twice a week. If he wasn’t here, I’d already have 3 or 4!! Haha
Lintini he is doing great I am moving him to my friends giant aquarium in about a month because he is getting too big for the one he is in now.
ahh, i feel everybun’s pain in wanting another bun. right now it would be a big change because MJ is by himself, but i had kinda settled with the fact that we wouldn’t get another bun til we graduate/get another place.
but now my boyfriend is the one suggesting we get another bun!! AHHHHH! i can’t resist if HE suggests it.
Sonn, I see Frosty quite often. He’s been at the PetCo I go to for litter for the babies. So I always stop and say hi to him. He’s a sweetie
Hubby told me last night that once M&M are bonded, and we’ve rearranged furniture, we can talk about getting another. he says he wants a lop next ![]()
lucky monkey! i was looking for a lop when i saw twix…. i still want 1…!
i love lops they are so cute. i have one of each. ( one lop one not a lop)
Haha tell me about it. I’ve had bunny fever for years! I started getting my bunny fix by volunteering at a bunny shelter than we moved. We’re probably moving back this summer though (long story), so hopefully I’ll be able to some what go without bunnies for another few years (until I have my own apartment/house and stable income) lol! I really want an english lop or a flemish giant!
Although I must say the shelter almost made it worse cause I wanted to take all of them home, lol!
at my shelter there are two Flemish giants right now, witch is weird because our shelter barely ever has any bunnys. i want another one but i know as long as i still living with my parents i won’t be aloud to get another one.
Yep my parents are the reason I don’t have any right now. My mom had a bad experience with an unneutered, territorial male bunny that I pet sat for 3 weeks. I’ve tried convincing her bunnies aren’t like that after they’re fixed, but she doesn’t believe me
.
Okay…MB, while you’re NOT looking at that little lop you DIDN’T post the link to, could you NOT go pick him up and DON’T bring him up here to me? Because I just happen to think he ISN’T adorable…lmao.
Oh…and don’t read any of the capitalized words in those last sentences, thank you. ![]()
hehehe… sure. May have to stop for a few others too
I just think of bonding sessions and I am instantly cured.
My hubby said once M&M are bonded, he might allow me to get another bun.. he wants a lop ![]()
Petzy, that’s an excellent thought! ^_^ Yup…don’t want any more at the moment. I’ll have to find some way to put a visual on my computer and on my shirt sleeve for when I go into PETCO. Kind of like how they use pictures of cancerous lungs to get people to stop smoking!
Pet Finder is NOT my friend! lol lucky for me some of these are no where near me

Awesome’s name speaks for itself.
What an adorable couple!
I don’t know why, but the rabbit named “Bunny” just tugs at my heart. I’m lucky he’s not anywhere near me either…or Petzy’s advice to think of the bonding agony would go right out the window!
lol the whole bonding fiasco is definitely not enough to turn me away if I have to I will have my stepdad build 10 rooms so they can each have their own room lmao!
The only thing stopping me at the moment is I want to at least give Marshmallow and Pacey one last shot at bonding and even though my mom is cool with them and suggests getting another daily I am still wary of her since just a few months ago she was demanding I give them both away lol

then you can’t be helped! I guess you don’t have to bond. I know I have to because whenever I had animals separate all I could think was “wouldn’t they love to be together”… There is something about animal packs/herds/groups that really enchants me.
i feel the same way.. its difficult to keep mine away from each other… but im managing
You guys are crazy. I love my bunnies but two sure is enough for me! Just thinking bout the teenage years and the bonding *shudder* I just can’t go through that again!
Cassi, adopt an older bun then, no more teenage years lol.
each time you add another rabbit it gets harder though because you’d be bonding to more bunnies… I stop at 4 for that reason. That’s my limit.
Wouldn’t multiple bunnies bond better? I would think a group mentality would take over somewhere?

“Somewhere”, yes, meaning a colony situation. In a colony, there exists a tolerance of new rabbits entering the group, but fighting can occur and when mixing new rabbits, into a sanctuary colony for example, one has to observe that the introduction only involves posturing between the rabbits and no teeth contact. A rabbit wanting to use his or her teeth on the others must be promptly removed. So even though you would not have bonding sessions between all the rabbits you’d still have to watch how the group receives the new rabbit(s). This has to take place in a large space. Some rabbits in groups don’t thrive because of being at the bottom of the social order. — It isn’t exactly the type of bonding model we use for pet bunnies.
