So Bun Bun gets small amount funk at the top of her eyes. Her left eye- no problem use my nail and gently swipe it off. Her right eye- when I was trying to get a small piece of hunk off pulled a very small tuft of hair. Well in doing so a tiny pin size cut happened ?. So with the long holiday the vet is closed so I’m wondering how I can treat it- wash pat dry gently…can I use polysporin ? It’s not directly in the eye. Any one know a way to help treat rabbit eye tearing?

Could you post a picture? If it really is a small pin sized cut it should heal on its own. You can use plain saline rinse to clean cuts and the antibiotic cream neosporin is safe to use on bunnies – make sure you use the kind without added painkiller!

          Are her eyes often runny?
