I have a bonded pair of rabbits, one female, one male- both fixed. They have been bonded since the beginning of January of this year. Fonzie, my lionhead, is a very gentle, sweet bunny. He loves grooming and being groomed. Adalynn, my most recent adoption is a lop. She can be a bit bossy at times and tends to be a bit aggressive towards humans. I don’t think her human before me took very good care of her and she was not socialized at all when I first got her back in November
. Adalynn and Fonzie loved each other right off the bat. They groom each other and I never really noticed Addie acting up towards Fonzie until today. They were in their litter box eating hay and Addie started digging at Fonzie’s side and Fonzie moved, but stayed in the litter box and continued to eat hay. Was this just communication? Should I be concerned? They’ve never given me any reason to be concerned before, but I have never observed this behavior between the two of them. Does anyone have any suggestions on helping Addie with her behavior? She’s Miss Princess and knows it!
