        Hi, 

        So yeah, my bunnies tail/back legs is changing color and I have no idea why. Please help.

          some rabbits do change color kind of like a chameleon. But also is he shedding? Also, I had a black cat that in some light appeared to have red undertones

            I’ve seen quite a lot of solid black bunnies with patches of brown fur appearing suddenly, so it should be quite normal I think I’ve read somewhere that sometimes being exposed to the sun “bleaches” the black out, making the fur turn into a brownish colour in certain spots – but I’m not sure if that’s the exact and only cause. Shouldn’t be something to worry about though!

                I’m late to this, but my black bun Bam’s fur got a beautiful reddish brown hue in the summer, especially over the shoulders. I think it’s even visible in my profile picture. The rest of the year he was black. He had a gray undercoat, but that only showed in the fluff I brushed off of him.
