        Hello everyone,

I was recently purchasing alfalfa hay for my own bunny from my shelter and I heard a super sad story of them rescuing a lot of bunnies for a horder situation. There are both boys and girls and they have worked a deal with a awesome vet to get the lot of them spayed and neutered for free with one of their local vets. I was told there are approximately 63 buns (of the 211 they currently board) and as a supporter of my local shelters I wanted to inform the most looked at fourm to see if anyone can help love a bunch of bunnies.

When I went they were all very docile and very comfortable with human presence and they are currently seperated by sex and possibility of pregnancy. If you have the heart or know someone looking for a bunny in the Los Angeles area please get in contact with Ms. Caroline

Through their website located at http://www.bunnybunch.org or email directly at caroline@bunnybunch.org

That is so sad, Bandit. If I weren’t in the Middle East right now I’d be so tempted to foster a few (I haven’t had a foster bun in over a year since my local shelter no longer has any buns). The whole fluffle looks quite loungy and contented, considering their circumstances, so your shelter is obviously doing something right. I hope potential bunny parents come forward in droves for these little ones

They actually were all pretty tame and bonded as a whole group. They stated there has only been twp nips in total

Oh my gosh! One looks just like my Bertha!

Man, if only I had a farm and could just swoop the whole lot….

Thank for you posting this! My husband and I got our rabbit, Bunji, from Caroline at the Fountain Valley location last October. She has been an amazing resource for us, who are first time bunny owners. I’ve been following her on Facebook and the work she does is impressive!

My husband and I both work pretty far now and have less time to spend at home with Bunji, We are considering getting him a friend. Hopefully we’ll find a good match with one of these hoarder case bunnies!
