Yesterday Dylan and I had a massive breakthrough – I’ve not had him that long (about 3 weeks I think) and I’m not known for my patience, so when he wasn’t instantly all over me I worried that he was a bun who was just not affectionate. I’m used to dogs who are always in your face, on your lap, licking your feet… Literally, drooling! But….

Yesterday, when I went in to give him his pellets, he was more excited to see me than the food! Seriously, he kept leaving the pellets to come nosebutt me! Then in th evening I sat on the beanbag in the bunny room on the phone to my mum (we talk for hours!) and he came and sat next to me and just let me pet him quietly.

After being a little worried that my wierd working hours would mean I didn’t spend enough time with him, especially if he didn’t like me (how selfish is that!?), I am now getting LOADS of bunny love

And he’s loads more outgoing around my b/f too, which is great, happy me, happy bun!

He’s now investigating the dregs of my green tea from my mug (don’t worry, it’s cold!) after having a wrestling match with my exercise ball  and clambering all over me!

        Total bunny slave.  xx

          That’s wonderful! Congratulations!

My bunny used to love it when anyone got on the phone. He’d come over, want pets, listen, take notes, make jokes aside…sorry. LOL Seriously, he always came when someone was talking. I think he was just nosey.

I have heard that buns really like hearing you talk – So, talking on the phone in the bun room is a great idea!!!
I don’t like to talk on the phone – I sometimes read to my buns.

Congrats on him becoming more comfortable around y’all – that is great!!!
