Hi,
I’m new to this forum (well forums in general actually) but I joined to ask a question about my little bunny butt Scott. Scott is a rescue albino lion lop who was bought from a store and taken back within a week because he was too wiggly and they dropped him causing some muscle damage to his back leg, we adopted Scott at 6 months (which would make him 13 months now) and he isn’t neutered. My question is, Scott is a very cheeky little bunny, excitable and inquisitive and he loves to be chased, recently he has been doing something he’s never done before, while playing chase he has begun to box at my hand, he sees me coming so I’m not startling him and he never hurts me, he boxes at my hand until I lay it on the floor then he chins and licks it…what could this mean? Is he play fighting? Do bunnies do that? I’m a bit confused as everything I’ve read says it’s a negative thing and he feels threatened but after the boxing he always chins, licks and snuggles my hand which I thought would be loving. Any insight would be great.
Oh and sorry if this post is in the wrong place I’ve never used a forum before.
Thanks
Danielle. Xxx
