Bunny Art!

It’s been a little while since we’ve had a bunny art thread. So show us your creative bunny side! Heck, show us your non-bunny creative ventures too! 

I’ve never been much of an artist but my husband bought be a tablet last Christmas and I was playing around with it and drew these creepy adaptations of Dexter and Penny. It’s sort of like re-learning how to draw. I’ve been using the Dexter one as my icon because it cracked me up how O.O I  made him look. 

Like I said, I’m no artist, but I’m excited to see what everyone else posts!

I did concrete-tiles with rabbit-patterns when I was at my mother’s, concrete is rather messy and precision is not possible but here’s a pic. They were not quite dry when I took the picture.

 Bam – I got a little bored during bonding (they were all sleeping) so I took a crack at drawing your Bam! 

I don’t know about it, lol, but it was fun to do!

LPT – Thank you! I’m going to be up with the bunnies most of the night (and all weekend) so I will give it a shot.

MD those pictures are really good! I love it. If you get bored you can draw Harley and Sally. Although I feel like Sally would be a little difficult lol

I was thinking that same thing BabyD I would love to see the monty one, if you wanna take a crack at Caleb you could give it a shot though his markings are a little difficult so idk if it’s possible using the app you’re using (I don’t know much about it) but i always loved your avatar, I didn’t know you drew it that’s awesome. I always sucked at drawing but ceramics was fun in college. I didn’t have Caleb then or I would’ve made a ceramic Caleb that makes me sad. I did make a goose teapot though that is fully functioning (except the part of heating it up……and it kinda leaks a little but the water comes out of the mouth when you pour it )

Okay, here are your bunnies LPT! I had some trouble with Bindi for some reason and probably have like 3 versions of him. Lol.

I’m glad you liked it Bam! I love his little ears. They seem to stick out more than other lops.

Thanks BubblesJo! They were really just a way for me to get used to my tablet but I’m glad everyone seems to like them.

Missgabster: Very cute! You should make it a bit larger. Are those craisins on the ground? =)

MD: Now when you say it, I too realize Bam’s ears really do stick out. Sometimes when he goes exploring new areas he resembles a big black wasp with the ears as antennae.

Thanks! I just made it in GIMP, but it could be done just as easily in photoshop. There are some great tutorials out there if you’re interested.

Those aren’t craisins, bam, although it kind of looks like it. It says Ox but I think I made the words a bit small.

Aw, I really like those, MD. I’ve always really like your avatar. I really want to get a drawing tablet. I’m a graphic artist so maybe I can make it a work expense.

In college, I took a still life painting course. I naturally gravitated to the set up with a bunny statue.
I’ll try to post a picture if I can.. I always seem to have trouble on this site.

It was a big 20×30 canvas. I’m not really good at all at still life, but it was still a lot of fun.
I didn’t even think about trying to make anything with my bunnies in it. Maybe I’ll try that out soon.

MissGabbster, I thought it was so cute that you drew craisins on the floor for him =) But of course, it’s his name. It’s still cute though. I didn’t know what pixel-art was but now I’ve googled it. It seems very complicated and interesting. I’m always happy to learn about new stuff, so thank you =)
