Does your bunny have a plush friend?

Bindi can’t have any in his condo because of an incident where he destroyed a hippo and ingested some stuffing. He does, however, love his stuffies during living room time. I have a bucket full of different bunnies that I bring out and he loves to chin and kiss them.

        Video to go with photo:

Olivia has two stuffies in her condo. She loves them and chins and washes them, but occasionally I will see one flying through the condo. They incurr the wrath of the Diva on occasion.  The little white bear she’s had since the day I brought her home.

I’m curious on opinions. Do you think your bunny loves his stuffie and considers it his friend with the washing and chinning or it is just a territorial thing?

Muffin looks at me weirdly when I put a stuffie in front of him.
“And what did you say you wanted me to do with this?”
But I did catch him licking it once, maybe he was testing to see if I gave him a giant treat XD

hmm when we first got Bumpy at the beginning of August, I tried putting one in with him. He seemed terrified of it. I even turned it around so it wasn’t looking at him. I’m gonna go put it in with him now! BRB

lol ok.. it was a fail. Maybe cuz he isn’t neutered yet? But he was pretty aggravated about it. He slow hopped around with his ears really extended forward and his body all long and stretched out while getting close to sniff it. He was NOT happy about the intruder LOL. He finally gave a good thump as he hopped into his cage. I then placed it outside the xpen door, with it still facing him, he just didn’t want the thing near his area at all. LOL my husband finally got up and moved the stuffed rabbit out of his sight and told me to stop irritating him.

Sidney used to LOVE her plushie elephant.  We got it for her right after her spay and she cuddled and groomed him constantly.  But when she moved in with the boys after bonding, they tore poor plushie to pieces…. so nooo more stuffed animals for anyone.

**Can’t have nothing nice with boys in the house!**

I forgot that when Nora was a single lady she liked to groom the heck out of my bunny slippers…

Once again… she also moved in with the boys… and now she can’t have nice things either.

Nermal has Frank the wonder Plushie in her cage at all times… He frequently gets moved to the food dish or litter tray depending on what she thinks he needs. I have found him shoved under the blankets on cold days. More recently she has dragged Roadkill Skunk up there too, I think it’s to taunt Pipi… Pascal has Paulette La Plush who gets frequent grooms and chins. Starsky my foster has Mr Pinky with whom he has an intimate relationship… The Wildebeest collective cannot be trusted with Plushies as they are eaten, the recently purchase bunny play tunnel lasted a whole 10 minutes before consumption. The fluffy heart pillow that Piglet loves is still intact by Pepper pee’s on it so no bunny else will take her Piglets favourite toy, unfortunately it makes it a bit sticky for Piglet too who likes to lay across it.

I tried giving my little girl a plushy. It doesn’t groom her so she ignores it. *sigh*

LPT, I would be worried about what kind of strength Olivia has to launch that one bunny plushie…if it’s anything like mine it’s an Applause bunny filled with beans and it is big and HEAVY. 0_0
But how funny! xD My daughter and I are trying to imagine that scene of plushies flying through the air when you’re not looking! lololol……..

My three all have had toy fruit or veggies and some stunt bunnies at one point or other. Sadly, Fiver is the only one who won’t destroy them on contact.

I bought Rufus a plushy to help him “relieve the tension” when he was about 4 months old and started spending all his time trying to rub up against my hands and feet. I named the plushy Chastity and poor Chastity got pretty abused. After Rufus was neutered 2 months later he decided he didn’t need her anymore, ripped both of her ears and tail off and then ate some stuffing. No more plushies for my little sadist.

I used to have plushies for Rascal when he was a single bun! He loved to groom them. Now he has Valentine! =)

Muffin won’t be getting another plushie date for awhile, he bit the tip of Snowbear’s ear off! 😮

Chester has a little plushie, who get ignored most of the time. Alhough I have caught Chester grooming it a couple of times, but mostly it gets used as a “pillow”. There is it, next to the water bottle.
