So here’s a delimma Bun Bun doesn’t really eat Timothy hay. She’s still on unlimited alfalfa hay but I’m starting to transition her slowly. Thing is she goes bananas for alfalfa- I call it bunny crack, but she really doesn’t touch much of her Timothy hay. I mix it in at the moment with her alfalfa but she can’t stay in alfalfa for her lifetime. How have people transitioned their buns?

Most bunnies prefer alfalfa to Timmothy. You may have to just do a hard transition and go 100% Timmothy. She should eat when she’s hungry, but if she is really refusing the Timmothy you can try other kinds of grass hay which are just as good. Meadow hay, Orchard hay, oat hay, etc. are all good alternatives Thor has a particular soft spot for oat hay
