I need some advice!
This little guy is Frank! Recently I noticed that his poops are a lot smaller than normal, and when I compare them to my other buns, they are smaller too. I’m really worried that this could be the beginning of GI stasis (I hope not). He hasn’t seem interested in his food right away like he normally is, and I’ve even given him his favorite (kale) and he picks at it, then leaves it be. I feed them twice daily, about 1/3 cup of pellets in the morning (7-8am), and greens in the evening, typically a mixture of either kale, green/red leaf lettuce and parsley or cilantro (7-8pm). I refill the hay in their bins every morning and evening.
Now, even though he doesn’t eat his food right away, when I come home in the evening the pellets are gone, and when I wake up in the morning most of his veggies are gone (except the stems because he doesn’t like them). I gave him ~0.1 mL of simethicone this morning and rubbed his tummy for about 5-10 minutes and about 30 minutes ago I gave him 1 mL of simethicone and rubbed his belly. He is now running around our apartment, running his chin on things, I should mention we just moved.
Please please help! I’m really nervous for my baby!
