Hello!
I- am a newbie. I don’t know much about rabbits, but I am doing my best to learn about how to properly care for them!
Bun-bun, as he is affectionately known, was living in someone’s backyard with their dogs. His previous owner thought that he could live off of grass and find shelter all while running from the dogs. Then, one day bun-bun was left at my house in a box. What was I to do? I couldn’t send him back…. so here he stayed.
Ollie was a rescue of sorts. While I was in a pet store that will remain unnamed, a couple with a young child stormed in with ollie, demanding that the store take him back since he no longer got along with their guinea pig. The store couldn’t take him back, so the couple threatened to let him loose in their store and leave – after the store gave the couple another guinea pig as payment, of course
The poor teanage employee was at such a loss at what to do, that is until a man offered to take the rabbit and feed it to his python. Up until this point, I had been minding my own business looking at rabbit treats, but at that point I had to step in. Soooo…. Ollie came home with me.
And that is how I came about being owned by two rabbits
Luckily, they are both very sweet boys and have gone easy on me so far!
I’m excited to have found this forum, and I hope to learn lots here
