  So today my sister told me that Tofu’s urine was orange, similar to that of orange juice. [photos below] I just want to ask if this is color is normal? Should I get her to the vet immediately? She’s also got it all over her hind area and nose because she tried to sniff it.

  Orange pee is often caused by something the bunny has eaten, like carrots or dandelions. Rabbits can also produce orange pee spontaneously. It’s normal and nothing to worry about.

  I would say that it’s concerning that she’s got it all over herself. Generally healthy rabbits don’t pee on themselves, so I would keep monitoring to make sure she isn’t losing control of her bladder. It might well be that she just stepped in it for some reason on this occasion, but keep an eye out.
