Hello! We’ve just gotten our bunny about a month and a half ago. He’s now 6-7 months (according to the people who gave him to us) and just by feel I would say he’s about 6-8 pounds. He was apparently rescued from a farm that was raising him to be sold as meat ): we are very thankful to have been able to give him a life of love. It’s said he’s a Red Californian Mix but I’m not really sure at this point, I’d like to know what he is to of course ensure he always has the best care pertaining to his kind. Here are a couple pictures I have. We’re new to the site and would love to meet others. This is our Gordo, aka Dobie as in Dobie the elf because he likes to take socks and hide them lol

Aww, look at those ears! He looks like a NZ to me. His coloring is broken red.

Thank you so much! I don’t know how I’ve overlooked the breed, I looked right now and was like “Hey, that’s him!” We were beginning to worry about preparing for the possibility that he was a Flemish Giant because he’s grown in such little time but I definitely think he matches up to the NZ.

aw so glad you were able to rescue him from that! I agree with him being an NZ. We had a lovely one in the rabbi sanctuary I used to volunteer at and he looks like similar. He looks lovely and happy (:
