  Ok so Rufus is a 5 year old intacted male who like to hump. Bugz and Anya are both altered and neither are humpy at all. Bugz and Anya are bonded.
  
  I want to bond them into a trio but I am not sure if the vet will give the go ahead to get Rufus altered. He has other medical issues and she may just say that it is not worth it, he is not agressive and he does not spray he just humps everything. At the moment they are being allowed out in turn and Bugz spends alot of his time up near Rufus cage pooping like mad. In fact since Rufus came into the house I think Bugz has forgotten how to use the litter tray as I am always finding pee and poop all over the study after letting them out for a run.
  
  Any suggestions on how I would attempt to bond this trio or should I just forget about it and keep Rufus a single bunny for the rest of his life?

  I’d say wait and see if his health improves. Neutering isn’t just to stop spraying, it’s to get rid of the non stop sexual urges the poor things get. Let’s them enjoy life rather than have them focused on mating all the time. So, wait and see is all I can say.

  Thanks Monkeybun, I agree that Neutering is done for a lot of reasons the top four that I know of is agression, spraying, humping non stop and litter training. Of these only humping is an issue (I swear he is in LOVE with his litter box and his pervious owner told me that he never had one before!)

  I would definitely wait to see how his health issues progress. I also worry about the effect this could have on your existing pair. You might end up with three separate buns rather than a pair and a single.
