Rabbit name: Sylar Blaise The Rabbit King Of Om Nom Nom.
Nom Nom for short.
Rabbit Age: Not sure. They said 4 or 5 weeks.
How long has your bunny been with you? 1 day
Spayed/Neutered? Not yet.
Rabbit Personality Traits: Calm, Curious, Playful, Cuddly. (lot’s of C’s…) Still getting to know the little guy.
Are you new to rabbits or have you been a bunny slave for a long while now? Nommer’s is my first bunny! =D He joins a small family. My SO and I have a kitty named Figaro.
What made you choose to have a rabbit companion in your life? The rabbit at my work had babies and I couldn’t get over how cute they were. I was constantly talking about them, so my SO bought me one! I would much rather have adopted an older one, but since this guy is all paid up for, at home, and glued to my heat, I think I’ll be keeping him.
Anything else that you’d like to share – hobbies, interests, talents. I am a nerd. I spend most of my free time on my computer. Watching movies, reading web comics, researching, hanging on a certain avatar based forum site, gaming, and IMing. I am a college student, starting classes again in January. I play the flute, like to draw, read, and write.
My SO and I are big fans of the TV Show Heroes. Hence the name Sylar for our bun. (also because the sign (as in sign language) for black is the way that Sylar kills people… except he would be killing himself.)
I am very happy with my new little bunbun. He’s been sleeping/hanging out on my chest most of the day. He’s been in his cage for an hour or two then cuddling with me for an hour or two. I want to make sure he becomes a cuddly bugger but I also want him to be comfy in his home. I have never had a bunny before so send me any tips or interesting (or funny) facts my way

How adorable! I saw the name and immediately thought of Sylar from Heros; I’m a big fan of the show too! There’s a lot of helpful tips on the site and everyone here is very helpful to answer any questions you need to know! Since this is your first bun, make sure you research all the right foods to give him
I’m sure you’ll have a blast with him! Babies sure can be a handful sometimes but well worth it!

@ Edda – He chews on his toy carrot if I’m holding it but if it’s just laying there he doesn’t care for it much.
@ skibunny – Yay! Another Heroes fan! Nom is a little bit of a handful. He got a little too curious the other day and got stuck in my chair before I could catch him. It didn’t stop him either, he went straight back to attempting to scale it.
@ Monkeybun – Hillsboro! Awesome. I know who I’m bothering if I ever need a babysitter. =P
@ Rowan – I’ve been keeping a very close eye on him. I’m a worrier. I worried a lot when I first got my kitten because he was only four weeks as well, but three years later and he’s still here. xD I’m very watchful, I’ve sat for a couple hours, just watching him, making sure he eats and drinks, and all that jazz. He seems very content.
I put a stuffed turtle (I adore turtles) in his cage to keep him company and the first thing he did was curl up and sleep with it. It put a smile on my face.

And yes, if you need a bunsitter, let me know… you may have a hard time getting him back tho… hehehe
