        is this normal? one leg is sort of sticking out and one is tucked in..

          I think so. Few animals sit perfectly symmetrically. You have to train dogs to, they don’t sit straight up and perfect when they are relaxed. Just like us, animals tend to shift their weight and sit as they find most comfy in the moment.
