bedding issues for buns and other rodents

So I’m at PetSmart buying tons of crap I don’t really need for Freya and notice a sign. Over the litter/bedding for small animals the sign lists each type and what it’s best for. Under pine and cedar it says both are fine for rabbits and other small rodents. I actually got a store associate to remove the sign, as she is intelligent and realized that the sign could by itself cause a death due to owner ignorance. I also immediately contacted the company through the website when I got home, telling them basically that they are contributing to sick and dead animals and begging them to stop. If they recommended a product for dogs that would kill dogs thousands of people not to mention large organizations would have fits and they’d be forced to stop. Let’s see if we can make a difference. We may not be many, but lets be heard. (Yes, I’m very bored and have nothing better to do on my days off than to harass large companies about bad policies. That may be part of why I needed such a lovely little creature to love and adore and take up my time.)
