My bunny Nova had been living in my bedroom for a while, but then he started peeing on my bed! he even has a box on my bed for a while to maybe stop the wetting but even then. the box is maybe two feet from the bed and there is no way to keep him off of it.  so i moved him to the bathroom for a while but… well he stopped binkying and being happy. he just sat there and stared at the wall. i have been going at it with spray bottle in hand to stop this  behavior once and for all. but is there anything else i need to do to make sure i dont wake up with yet another wet surprise running down my back? (yes he snuggles up to me when i sleep)

random off topic webcam picture of my flemmie sitting in a basket that clearly has a weight limit of under 9lbs

*edit* this is a brand new pic. explains why i dont mind him on the bed <3

(yup guitar blanket). he is currently loosing his firmness and is slowly creeping down to his side lazy sleepy bun

Is he neutered?Usually peeing on the bed is like marking you as his.

Charlie used to sleep with me, but before he was neutered, he started peeing on the bed…all the time! Even after being neutered, some bunnies will continue to mark the bed, and you.

The bed smells like you strongly, so he’s marking it. Some people have had success of watching the bun like a hawk and moving them into the litterbox every time they go to pee on it, but that isn’t very feasible at night… so probably your best bet is to just block it off with NIC cubes or something so he can’t jump up.

yeah im going to find him a nice flemmy sized cage (where the heck do you get one of thoes?!) and put it in my room. he is a good boy when its daytime but at night all he wants to do is tick me off with wet surprises. he loves sleeping on my bed though :/ he zoomies and binkys when i put on my pajamas because he knows that i will be going to sleep and he is going with me. he is neutered, long before i got him. he even poops full piles at night too like he is in his litterbox… what the heck is the logic behind that?

Heh, flemmie sized cages don’t really exist. They are so large it’d be akin to keeping a dog in a pen all day
The poo piles are also a marking thing, you might want to just try to retrain or maybe even that clicker training, Keep a box next to the bed and just watch him closely. It’ll be a pain for a little bit, but less of a pain than changing sheets and getting pee’d on. if you don’t have a mattress protector, you should look into getting one and flip the mattress if you can. Not sure if you can clean those…

i just got a bunch of bb store stuff for xmas (fiance’s bun gets some too). i just got the soft clicker and the training book so he will be a clicker trained bun soon. my boyfriend laughed when i told him i was going to clicker train my bun, just wait, when my bun is being a perfect little angel and his fuzzy 1 month old turns into a tormenting teenager i will be the one laughing!

would that marking get better when he gets a bun friend by any chance?

Unlikely. It’ll actually probably get worse.
