  Another weird question from me. But who better to ask than fellow bunny slaves!
  
  Pretty sure I need a new mattress due to ongoing chronic pain. If I sleep on the couch, my pain in the morning doesn’t seem quite as bad. Bad news – I’ll have to save up for a new mattress so this won’t be happening for a while.
  
  I am considering a memory foam mattress. If I go that route, I will need to get a new bed frame which is what my question is about. I was looking around online and it obviously occurred to me that a platform bed would make it virtually impossible for Lolli or the dog to get under my bed. WIN! I had lots of problems in the apartment with Eddie and Lolli getting under my bed and chewing everything. (Yes, it made sense to just block them from the room and I did eventually do that.)
  
  Does anyone have a platform bed? How do you like? Can you recommend any brands? And what about the ones with storage underneath?

  just get a memory foam mattress topper,, go for one that is 4″ thick.
  overstock sells a bunch of them in the $100-$150 range

  My mom uses sheep skin to sleep on. She has bugling disc issues and she’s tried everything. She says the sheepskin works best.

  I like this idea. You could get that while saving up for the real thing, and to make sure you like it, before committing to the full bed.
  
  I’ve seen these at the wholesale clubs too (BJ’s, Sam’s Club, haven’t been to Costco, but they probably have them).
  
  I saw a pic on Pinterest of a platform bed that lifts up and you have the whole underside for storage. That’s another idea.
