Hello everyone!
I made this account months ago but never had the time to jump on and chat. So we are:
My baby’s name is Becka, and she’s about a year and a half now. I got her from a friend sometime in April last year and she estimated that she was about 8 months at the time, that was just a rough estimate though.
She is spayed, I heard that they live longer and have fewer medical problems so it was all that I needed for convincing… except my wallet didn’t like that idea… burned a hole right through it… But it’ll pay off with a healthy girl .
Becka has some personality- ha! Let me tell ya, she’s like a little dog. Sweetest little thing ever. Whenever I walk in she’ll come running up from wherever she was dozing away and flick her little feet, shake her head and stand up on her back feet and look me right in the eyes, “I’m cute. You know it. I know it. Now pet me momma!” Ugh, you can never say no can ya! Aaaand the dog taught her how to beg… what a wonderful, (not annoying at all…not!) trait to pass along to everyone in the house… Every time I eat in my room when I’m doing work or just watching tv Iv’e got one at my side (my pup Zoey) and one pushing their little nostrils on my leg. Trying to eat here- can’t do that in peace without sharing these days. My dog is about a medium to small size and has (hate this but it’s her breed) killed small animals before. So when I introduced them it took a few months… but now- weeeeewwwf! If Becka wants her space. Becka is gettin her space! Hahahaah!!! Just 30 minutes ago Zoey walked in and got just one step too close to Becka’s toy and this little bunny has a attitude! She’ll pin her ears back, arch her back, spread her feet, lift her head up high and growl like a wolf! She cracks me up! And Zoey, hahaha the first time ran away, and ever since then Becka’s ego kinda went through the roof. Zoey keeps her distance now. Becka also has a rebellious stage- like 15 minutes ago… I was cleaning up some droppings that got stuck to her foot when she jumped out of her litter box and she came up to me and growled because I was near her stuff. I said, “Well don’t be making a mess!” And I put her and the droppings in the litter box. While I was still next to her cleaning, she turned her back and laid down in the box like, “UGH! Clean it up now! Imma get all dirty just for you!” Love you too…. I couldn’t help but laugh a little in my head. So I said, “Fine! You lay in there! Lay in your smelly box for all I care! GO on!” And with that she turned to look at me and then turned back and pinned her ears like she was purposefully rebelling. HAhaahaaa ohhh geezz.
Before April of last year I knew just about 0 about bunnies… I had one when I was 4 for about two weeks, but when I never cleaned it or anything and my mom ended up doing it she gave it away But what did I know?! I was 4. I do not think people should give little kids fragile pets… oy mom. But once I got Becka I did my homework… x10. HAahaa, I feel like I’m an expert now. (I’m sure some of you know a lot more hahaa don’t get me wrong) but I have read, and watched and listened to so many web sites, book, articles you name it, yup been there. And I have just watched her for so long I suppose I may not be a perfect expert on bunnies as much some of you- but I’m an expert on my bunny
Haha this was an hour ago. I was getting ready for bed and I put my sweater on her and she licked the life out of it. Hahaa, then wanted me to get a close up of her nosey sniff sniff. I guess my phone smells good… or looking for pets- probably the second one
I had to add this one… I thought this was hilarious… What chu doin’ stinker!
OK OK last one, I just thought this was cute with her huge ears
Well that’s my baby in a nut shell
