it was a case of “we got these rabbits for our kids, but they’re not taking care of them. want one?” so meet the almost four month old flemish giant buck, formerly known as “tiny”, new name to be determined. ariana, my three year old, insists his name is puppet, i want to call him attila the bun. we shall see! he’s not been handled a whole lot, and is nowhere near as social as rue, but we’re working on it. he is obviously grateful to have more room to run around. right now, he’s living in our large dog kennel, and while that’s not nearly as big as i would like, it’s still more room than he had. whenever he comes out for play time, he’s all about zoomies and binkies and stretching his legs! he’s scheduled for a neuter next month.
i’m a little sad that i have to take my name off the waiting list with rue’s breeder, though. i was waiting for a holland lop.
I’m a sucker too. He is very gorgeous. I hope when he’s neutered he will get along great with Rue. Even though he’s not the bun you would have picked he may end up even better than what you wanted. My unwanted animals always end up being the best ones.
He’s absolutely beautiful! Sometimes our new family members come to us unexpectedly. Big buns are so much fun =)
HE. IS. GORGEOUS. WANT. WANT.WANT. (Monkeybun, I need help, this bunny napping is too big for one person)
He’s adorable and handsome!!!
Haha I approve of the name
Your pictures (and bun!) are absolutely gorgeous! What kind of camera do you use?
Oh my…he’s gorgeous and your little one is adorable too.
Lop or not, GORGEOUS BUN! *steals*

you take the ears, i’ll grab the tail! ![]()
those are gorgeously huge ears, we may need chacha to help with one of them
i’m so excited! when i walked in the room, he actually came up to the front of his cage! and when i opened the cage door, instead of moving to the far side of the cage until i walked away, he flopped over in front of the door and let me pet him! we’re making progress! i can see him watching rue when i’m interacting with her, so maybe he’s learning how to behave from her. she’s a little social butterfly, so she’s a good role model!
I’ll take the cute tummy tummy!
He’s beautiful. Lovely eyes, too.
What a gorgeous bunny! Wow! Congrats! I like the name “puppet” I call Stormy that sometimes. Actually, your bunny reminds me of a very realistic Jack Rabbit puppet that I contemplated buying for the longest time at Chapters. Looking forward to many, many pictures in the future (Rue as well). Are you planning on bonding the two of them?
I will never understand how a kid is lucky enough to be given a beautiful bunny (or cat or dog or whatever) and gets “tired” of it and doesn’t want to take care of it. I had a cat and hamsters as a child and I loved and cherished them. I wouldn’t have given them away for a million dollars! I was always trying to bribe my parents into letting me get more animals.
Agreed, LPT. I always loved my pets. My youngest sister is 7 and does ALL the work for her dog, Eddie, a stray that my mom found on the highway. She even cleans the poo!!!!!
Attila Puppet is beautiful! Huckleberry is doing wolf whistles!!! She likes the idea of more flemmies on the forum! Looking forward to more pictures of both buns!

What a beautiful pic of both the bunny and your little one.
But after seeing the pics of Puppet earlier in the thread I was expecting this!

haha! Soon, Kralspace, soon.
He is Awesome! Former family’s loss = your gain, I say.

I totally agree!! I was given a cat for my 7th birthday (still have her 14 years later
) and my mom made me do everything. I’m probably the only person I know who litter trained a cat at 7 haha. But seriously I NEVER got sick of her! and whenever I decided I didnt want to do the cleaning my mom would put me infront of the litterbox and I wasnt allowed to move until I cleaned it
That fixed the problem pretty fast haha
Aww he’s adorable.
I still feel pangs of sadness that we didn’t adopt Baby, a lop mix at the shelter who we were thinking about bringing home before Lilah found us…but then I look at her and know that she is worth it! Attila is awesome, love those last two pics of him. ![]()
